Sometimes Only Neutral Will Do

What’s the purpose of a frame?  A frame keeps the viewer’s eye on the picture, and a good frame makes the image more aesthetically pleasing by complementing the artwork.

The Maple is classic, simple and stylish.  It allows the artwork visual ‘breathing space’ and tends to draw the viewer’s eye towards the picture, rather than trying to grab some of the attention for itself.  It is understated and elegant, and we love it.

Similar to our existing white and black box frames, the frame is 2cm wide and 3.3cm deep.  It is then backed with Dibond which makes the finished print lightweight and floats the panel from the wall.

It is now possible to order a sample of your desired frame so that you can see the quality of your purchase.   Visit our framing page to see samples and find out more information.

A new design choice...

Paper made for fine art digital printmaking doesn’t normally have pretty edging, but what if you want the edges of your artwork to show?  Step forward the deckled edge.  Deckled edging is a rough, feathery outline that looks almost torn, and gives the image a sense of depth and layers.  It is both striking and contemporary.

As with the maple frame, it is now possible to order a sample of this deckled edge in a frame. Visit our framing page to see samples and find out more information.
