Salgado is possibly, in fact almost definitely, the most significant social documentary photographer there is. We haven’t yet been, but it’ll be a real treat - it’s the culmination of 8 years work across 32 countries. Salgado documents what has not yet been destroyed; pristine environments and unchanged tribal cultures form the body of his work.
