Quick Questions

Expressionistic, conceptual, bold.

The back catalogue of every great photographer.

Favourite part of the job?

When I transfer my work onto my laptop I discover what I have photographed.

Biggest challenge?

Being confident enough in my own ability to know that, at the end of a session, I can walk away knowing I have a good photograph.

Where do you live? What do you love about it?

I live in Bristol, and I love the creative atmosphere at every corner. There is no shortage of immensely talented people here to collaborate with and be inspired by.

Are you artistic at all? Can you draw?

I was a musician and worked with sound and music for many years, but I can’t draw or paint very well. Photography helped me to discover that the visual arts are actually a part of my artistic make-up after all.

What is your favourite night of the week? Your favourite season?

It’s that Friday feeling. A long weekend ahead of me is still a feeling that is hard to beat. Summer is the most beautiful season of all.

What do you want to accomplish that you haven’t already?

I would like to learn how to ski powder, and ski the slopes of Colorado one day.

What excites you?

Great art, great music, great people, great cities and great landscapes.

What angers you?

What is a good life?

Living in the company of good friends and people that you love.
