Where do you live? What do you love about it?
Didsbury in south Manchester. It feels like a village, but has a big cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Are you artistic in other ways- can you draw?
I’m very good at making things and can often be found in my workshop fine tuning and tinkering with ‘The Great Contraption’!.
What do you want to accomplish that you haven’t already?
A very long bike trip, probably round south America
Describe the best party you have ever been to?
En route to the summit of Kilimanjaro in December 1999 our expedition was delayed due to permit restrictions. We had planned to be at the summit for New Year’s Eve, as things panned out we spent the evening partying in Moshi golf club - it was amazing! An eclectic mix of locals, trekkers and ex-pats - the best New Year’s Eve party ever!
I prefer to view challenges as opportunities, and as an artist that is part of the creative process.
What are your favourite things to do on a Sunday?
Red wine and cooking Sunday lunch
