Richard GastonLondon, UK
Richard Gaston’s work focuses on some of the breathtaking aspects of the natural world. Whether it’s looming mountaintops or the rolling greenery of wind-swept fields, the emphasis is on a clean aesthetic. His fine art photography ranges in subject, but also comes with a very particular focus on light and composition. There’s no ambiguity in Gaston’s imagery — a crucial part of his process involves making sure that the subject is clearly defined.Preferred Style

A magnificent view from one of Scotland’s most iconic mountains, Suilven. Situated in the heart of misty Assynt in the Northwest of the Scottish Highlands. This area is home to a rugged landscape; distinctively shaped mountains that rise steeply from the surrounding lochan scenery. Due to their steep sides rising from the moorland, they often appear higher than their actual height. Most commonly shrouded in low lying cloud. Assynt represents true Scottish atmosphere; dull and moody weather and more rarely, magical light that dances through the fog.
